Waylon’s World is partnering with Comfort Cases; an organization inspiring dignity and hope to youth in foster care through comfort, community, character, and compassion.

Over 700 children enter the foster care system every single day.

Most are given a trash bag to carry their belongings...

We believe that every child deserves to feel a sense of dignity. Every child deserves to pack their belongings in a special bag that they can call their very own.

Here’s How We’re Working Together:

Waylon’s World is donating a percentage of every book sold to the organization!

We’re also putting our books in their backpacks! When you purchase the buy/give option, a book will be added to a child’s Comfort Case in your name.

Comfort Cases are backpacks filled with comfort and personal care items for youth entering the foster care system.

Rob Scheer, Founder of Comfort Cases

At 12 years old, Rob was given a trash bag to pack his belongings, as he entered his first foster home. Nearly 30 years later when he became a foster parent, his first four children arrived at his home with trash bags.

He was saddened that nothing had changed. In 2013, Rob’s family and their community founded Comfort Cases and set out on a mission to eliminate trash bags from the foster care system.

Waylon is so excited to partner with Comfort Cases!

He knows that finding a forever family can be tough and he thanks you for supporting his goal to make sure that every child experiencing foster care feels loved.
