Waylon, a resilient rescue pup, was given up by his first family and shipped around before finding his forever home in Chicago. His paperwork said ‘unwanted’ but now he is unconditionally loved. He’s become the perfect mascot for kids on their own journey to finding a forever family.

The Mission
We’re all about normalizing a nontraditional family experience. Waylon’s story is used to inspire dignity and hope to youth in foster care who may not see their stories represented in daily life or the media. We strive to show children that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
